Day 1 Feb 22, 2017
We have landed for our first night on this trip. Found a nice place to stay, built in the 1870’s in Chattanooga, TN.
Even though we spent most of the day in the car today, we were still able to share the Gospel Message with 15 people through giving them Real Life Stories Books.

She was so happy to get this Free book! When we gave the book to her, she said “I saw other people that had the book and said to myself I want a copy.” Wow! Then you walk up and give me a book! Thank You so much! This really means a lot to me!

Day 5 of trip to Bradenton, Florida, Feb 26, 2017
Yesterday morning at
RESONATE LIFE CHURCH
BRADENTON, FL
We taught on the Shofar, the Gift of the Equipping Evangelist and how to use Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books to reach lost souls.
There was about 140 people in the service.
All 140 people were given a Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Book! They were challenged to read it, pray over it and ask the Holy Spirit to show them a lost person to take the book too!
Another challenge was given, for everyone to write their testimonies and be in a future Real Life Stories Testimony Book. Over 80 people committed!
When we called for those that felt the Father was calling them to sound the shofar for His glory, over 20 people came forward!
Lastly, we called for those that felt Jesus has given them to the church as an Equipping Evangelist to Come Forth. Over 15 people came forward!
After church, we headed for Dunkin Donuts, where we gave out 3 Real life Stories Books. By the end of the day, we had given out 40 books in all!
In our first 5 days of travel, we have shared the Father’s love by passing out 157 Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books and have not had 1 person refuse the book.
The offering of books has led us to talking, encouraging, praying for and prophesying over the receivers of the books.
All of today's seed, (books) were sown in Old Town Bradenton, Florida and Bradenton Beach areas.

We decided to ask them if we could set up a book display for the hotel customers to have some books.

Yesterday we passed out 23 books all over downtown Venice, Florida.
Again people received them with Great Joy!
In our first 8 days of travel, we have shared the Father’s love by passing out 276 Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books.
Yesterday, we had 2 people very early in the day refuse the books. First 2 in 8 days of giving away books.
Did we fell Rejected?
Yes! We felt Rejected!
Did we want to quit? Yes!
Did it Hurt ? Yes!
Were we really rejected? No! They rejected Jesus, not us!
In both cases, the person looked the book over very closely before rejecting it. They knew it was about Jesus!
After the 2 rejections, the enemy kept attacking us every time we went to offer someone else a book!
These attacks went on all day!
Every time we went to hand another person a book, we heard the voice of the enemy, "You better not offer them a book, they are going to reject you!"
But we pushed through, offered the books and people accepted them with a smile!
Why are we sharing this with you?
So you know rejection will come!
But it does not have to win!
You can defeat it!
When we went down for breakfast this morning, the devil was still taunting us! Yes, even the next day.
So, we grabbed 7 books and took them down to breakfast with us. We gave out 5 books as we had breakfast and all 5 people were so happy to get them!
We have been sharing Jesus with people by using books for over 16 years. If the enemy continually tries to stop us, he is going to try to stop you too!
The devil tries to stop what he is afraid of! We are bringing the Light into the darkness.

Yesterday we passed out 51 books all over the Punta Gorta, Florida Waterfront
Yesterday, we had 2 people very early in the day refuse the books. First 2 in 8 days of giving away books.

Our last stop yesterday evening was for peanut butter pie and apple pie. The manager of the restaurant came over to the table and asked how everything was? We said great and offered her a book. She started to cry! She came back to our table later and picked up our bill. She said, “ You took care of me earlier and now I am taking care of you! Your bill has been paid!” We thanked her and She said, “No, the Thanks are to You!”

That was a divine appointment! All we had to do is carry the books, God did the rest!

Carla gave the lady pictured below a book. She told Carla, “ Yes, life does have many storms and I am in one. I am just getting back from my Mother’s funeral.”
Carla carried the book and God made a Devine connection!
The other thing we hear over and over is, “When I get done reading this book, I will share it with my friends!
Many of these books will be read by 2, 3, 4 or even more people!

As the Holy Spirit led, Carla gave Joann a 2nd book for her daughter.

You see, when we go as Sons and Daughters of God, we are led by the Spirit of God and this brings Life!
On our way onto Sanibel Island we passed this restaurant.

When we were leaving the Island we felt this was the place for us to have dinner. So we stopped. What better place to pass out Lighthouse books then in the Lighthouse restaurant. That connection made it so easy to give people books!

Our waitress Kayla, pictured above was so happy to receive the book! As I gave Kayla the book, I showed her what pages our stories were on.
Kayla was very great full and said: “I love to read and needed to get a new book!”
The food was so good we filled out a book for the Head Chef and asked Kayla to give it to him.

A Man is Arrested?
Yesterday, we passed out 44 books all over Matlacha, Florida.
During breakfast we gave Charmaine, Anthony and Kimberly pictured below a Real Life Stories Testimony Book.
During breakfast, each of them stopped by the table to talk with us. Each of them said how much it meant to them to receive the book and how they were going to read it and share it with others. Before we left, we called them over to our table and gave them each another book to share with whomever they wanted to. Again, they were so thrilled and thanked us multiple times.
By doing this we enlisted 3 people to carry the gospel message to someone that they know!
Later in the day, while Carla was in a store shopping I felt led to set a book down on a table outside of an ice cream parlor. Here is what happened as I watched:

A man comes, sits down, picks up the book and starts reading it. It was if he was draw to this table and to this book supernaturally!
The man seemed to be captivated (arrested) by what he is reading!
As I watched, I prayed, “Father God do not allow this man to put this book down. Father capture his heart!”
All I did was carry the book and set it down. This set the stage for the Holy Spirit to draw him!
This is so easy any one can do this !

We were walking past a grocery store. Kaelyn, Breanna and their Mother were selling cookies.
The man seemed to be captivated (arrested) by what he is reading!

They asked us if we wanted to buy some cookies. We said we really do not need them but we will buy some if you will allow us to give you each a gift.
So we got a box of cookies and the girls each got a book with the Gospel Message in it!
As a Son and Daughter of God, we are led by the Spirit of God and bring life were ever we go!
Again people receive the books with Great Joy and Smiling Faces!

In our first 12 days of travel, we have shared the Father’s love by passing out 483 Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books.
When traveling like this, we try to make choices based on what is best for the Kingdome of God!
Example:
We never stay in the same hotel for more than 1 night and we never eat in the same restaurant more than one time.
These choices, increase the size of our mission field and give us more opportunities to give people Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books.

When traveling like this, we try to make choices based on what is best for the Kingdome of God!

Please pray for Jaedyn, Laura, Sal and Mary as they go through this loss of family. Jaedyn wants to be a writer. Carla went over to their table before we left and prayed for Jaedyn and encouraged the rest of the family.

Yesterday, only 1 one person refused a book. We have had only 4 rejections in 13 days of giving away books. Only 4 people rejected the books and 543 received the books and the Gospel Message contained in each book!
This book is a God inspired Idea and people from All walks of life and All ages love to receive them!

Yesterday we passed out 37 books all over St. Petersburg, and Seffner, Florida

Are we wasting God's Money?
Yesterday we passed out 37 books all over St. Petersburg, and Seffner, Florida
This morning we gave books to Felicia from Peru and Pedro from Puerto Rico.
Carla shared a book this morning with Pauline from England.
This afternoon, we shared books with Dustin from Jamaica and Stevenson from Barbados.
During the last 14 days, we have given Books to people from Bosnia, China, England, Canada, Philippines, New Zealand, Mexico, Australia, Haiti, Guatemala, Venezuela, Switzerland, Peru, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Barbados.
Wow! That is people from 17 nations!
Something to think about? Instead of spending so much money traveling to all these countries on missions trips (millions of dollars) maybe we should invest more money in inexpensive Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books and reach the United States.
In addition to that, we need to develop Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Books in every nation and teach the local people of that nation to reach their country.
Doing the Gospel this way does not waste all of God’s resources!
When you disciple local people to do the work, you have no travel expense, no hotel expense, no extra food expenses, no renting of big tents, no renting of stadiums, no renting of sound equipment, no renting of stages, no renting of chairs and no expense of advertising meetings!
All money is spent on inexpensive books, which are placed into the hands of discipled saints to use in everyday life to reach everyone they see in daily life!
Now, that is a God style business plan!

At about noon today I received a call from a man named Tom from Valdosta, Ga.
Tom said, “I was walking by the ticket booth at the old Valdosta movie theater and I saw this book titled "Lighthouse Edition 3" setting on the ledge. When I saw the sub title, "Life Has Many Storms", I knew it was for me. I have no idea how it got there but I know it was there for me!
My Father died, My mother died, My sister died and I did not want to keep living. I had lost all hope!
Until I started reading the book. Every chapter I read more of my hope was restored. I am still struggling but this book has really helped me and I want to thank the person responsible. I want to thank the people that made this book possible!”
I got to pray with Tom and encourage him to put God 1st in his life!
Remember the email we sent out on day 2 of this trip? Go back and take a look at it! You will see that we were in Valdosta, Georgia. I remember at the Holy Spirit’s leading, setting that book on the ledge at the ticket booth of the old theater.

Day 17 and 18 of trip to Bradenton, Florida.
On March 10 and 11, 2017 as we headed home we passed out 42 books between Lewisburg, TN and Porter, Indiana.
When we stopped for gas, Carla gave a customer in the gas station a book.
She was so excited, she was reading it on the way out to her car!
On our 18 day journey we shared the Father’s love by passing out 719 Real Life Stories Christian Testimony books.
During the 18 days we only had 5 people that we offered books refuse to accept them!
The proof is in the numbers! People love to receive these books! The Gospel message is packaged in such a way that it does not drive people away but attracts them and draws them in to reading the truth pages which come out of the Bible, the Word of God.
Our last stop of the trip was dinner with some friends. We could see the young man, Adam, that started to serve us was not having a good day! When we asked him, “How are you doing?" He said, “I better not say! Just let me get your drink order.”
When he came back with the drinks he said, “Someone else will be taking over at this point.”
We offered Adam a Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Book. Adam said, “If it has anything to do with religion, I am not interested and I am tired of people trying to push their religion on me.”
Carla said “The book is not about religion, it is about relationship. It is about all the people whose faces are on the back cover. It is about relationship!”
Adam said, "If that is the case thank you, I will read it!"
About 20 minutes into our dinner, Adam came back to our table. Adam said, “I have been looking over the book and the titles of the different chapters. I find them to be very interesting and I just want you to know I will read this book!”
Wow! What a turnaround!

A few weeks ago I received a phone call from a young man by the name of Zach.

He picked up a Real Life Stories Christian Testimony Book somewhere in the Market place in La Fayette, Indiana.
We talked for a while and I ask if I could pass his name and phone on to someone near him to better help him. He agreed and I passed his info on to a couple that live in that city.

This is from the guy you asked us to follow up with. We talked to him on Tues on the phone and Don met him on Wednesday and talked more with him. This is the text we received from him this morning.
Morning Don!
I'm feeling much better now that I have turned away from my sins. That empty void is no longer empty.
I'm keeping you and your wife in my prayers! Thank you both for sharing God's love with me. He has already blessed me within the last 24 hours. I ran into a friend at the bus depot downtown last night and I prayed with him. My best friend Matt bought me a pair of blue tooth headphones. And an old friend of mine, Dan, gave me $20 last night. I bought a new shirt and a couple of energy drinks. I probably shouldn't have bought the energy drinks though because I have not gone to bed yet lol! But I'll be okay. As long as I have the Lord guiding me, there is nothing that Satan can say or do that will bring me down!!!!!!!
PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
