Tips on What to Say or Not Say When Giving Out Real Life Stories books...
Keep this in mind......
In our fast-paced lives when everyone is in a hurry, the
main purpose of Real Life Stories books, is to quickly put the Gospel Message into a person's hands so they can look at it when they have time, then allowing the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, bring to a place of repentance and salvation.
Real Life Stories book covers are designed to pull people into wanting to read the book, while at the same time keeping the Gospel Message camouflaged with in the Book Cover until a person sits down to read the book.
When presenting a book to a person, stay away from saying these things:
God
Jesus
Holy Spirit
Testimony
Testimonies
Church
Religion
Brother
Sister
I want to share with you.
All the above can cause people to raise their guard, put up walls, pull away from you and refuse the book.
Use alternate words for those above, for example:
Use Story or Stories,
not Testimony or Testimonies......
Example of wording you may use....

I am a Co-author of this book, here is my picture (while pointing to it and holding it up where they can acknowledge they see you).
This book contains a short True story from each person pictured on the back cover with me.
While flipping the book over and showing the front cover say, all of the True Stories are based on the fact ,
That Life Has Many Storms and they touch on the various words floating around in the water.
You can read my story on page 84.
At the end of my story, you will see my contact information, I would love to hear your thoughts, comments, or answer any questions you may have.

At this point you will probably hear
Thank You so Much and Receive a Big Smile......
That's a normal response..
But not the only response...
There are times when a person will be stopped in their tracks, as they look at the words in the water and Start to Cry....
At these moments God will cause time to stand still and give you time to share Your Testimony Verbally, share the Gospel Message, Pray with the person and Offer Salvation.
God will Supernaturally keep all people and disturbances at a distance.
At these moments the Holy Spirit will operate through you to meet every need.
Do not get hung up on patterns or methods! Follow the Holy Spirit!
